An author, trainer and consultant, Ayda Sanver is a former Certified Fund-Raising Executive (2009-2021) with 25+ years of experience as a nonprofit development officer, board member, corporate financial analyst, and university instructor.
Prior to becoming President of her own firm, Ayda was the Chief Development officer at CSAAC and the Executive Director of CSAAC Foundation, a nonprofit that serves individuals with disabilities where she raised $3 million+ over 9 years, and prior to that, the Director of Information and Referral at the Autism Society of America, where she was responsible for program development and aligning fundraising goals with programmatic needs. Her corporate background includes senior analyst positions at Marriott International headquarters, IBM, Essential Technologies, and Mutual of Omaha.
After Ayda’s daughter was diagnosed with autism in 1995, she was “bitten by the nonprofit bug” and began volunteering for and later working at nonprofits, and has never looked back. Currently, she specializes in nonprofit board coaching, fundraising planning and training, and nonprofit communications. She brings her unique experience of being a sole development director who has worn many hats – from fundraising to marketing to public relations.
